Academic Forum Muhammad Ali Luqman

The Academic Forum Muhammad Ali Luqman was founded in Berlin in April 2018. Its overarching aim is to remedy the lack of academic work from and concerning South Yemen, an area about which relatively little research has been undertaken. The Academic Forum seeks to give insight into historical, political, economic and cultural topics related to South Yemen, as well as to stimulate research interest in this increasingly significant region. In doing so, drawing from Muhammad Ali Luqman’s intellectual and cosmopolitan legacy, the Forum strives to create a platform for academic and scientific exchange on topics concerning South Yemen.
